If you are fond of touring new places, wish to explore new places, see rare objects, you need not visit foreign countries. We have so much in our own country that you will be astonished to know.

Such an auspicious place is Shri Shri 1108 Ekadash Rudra Mahadeva temple, at a distance of 3 km only from Madhubani Bus Stand , in Mangrauni village in Madhubani district of Bihar.

Kanchipeeth's Shankaracharya Jayendra Saraswati felt overwhelmed to see eleven forms of Lord Shiva at one Shakti Vedi, and uttered- this is the only Temple in the whole world of its kind. He visited Mangrauni on 4th may 1997. The heir of temple, Pandit Aatmanand Jha(Baba Aatma Ram) enthusiastically tells that after four years, on 17th may 2001, Jagannath Peethadhishwar Shankaracharya Nishchalanand Saraswati visited the place and felt spell bound and mesmerized to see it and immediately told Baba Aatma Ram that he wished to lord shiva.

Baba Aatma Ram tells, albeit Mahadeva's Mantra is - Om Namo Shivay, yet the founder tantrik of the temple, pandit munishwar jha (1896- 1986) prepared an eleven lettered mantras- Om Namo Shivay, Om Ekadash Rudray.

Hearing this mantra, Shankaracharya replied," if today Aadi Guru Shankaracharya were here, he would certainly enchant this mantra. I will also follow the new trend. If this mantra is enchanted 100 times, we get a benefit of 1200 mantras - 100 times of Om Namo Shivay, 1100 times of Om Ekadash Rudray. So in totality it is 1200 times. The worshipper gets spiritual upliftment by coming here.

Baba Aatma Ram further tells from 10th may to 21st may 2000 various forms started appearing on all the Shivlingas situated on one Shakti Vedi and the most surprising factor is that the process is still continued.

Very enthusiastically he gave complete information to the writer and showed the pictures that had appeared on the Shivalingas with equal zeal.
